Applications for readership at Marbury Chambers open at 9:00 am on the first Monday in January and close at 5:00 pm on the following tenth business day in February (Application Deadline) each year for the May and September intakes of the following year.
Marbury Chambers may interview at any time after the first business day following the Application Deadline, up to 5:00 pm on the business day before the ‘Offer Day’, being the first business day in March.
Marbury Chambers will make offers not before the Offer Day.
Where openings arise after the Offer Day, Marbury Chambers may make out-of-cycle offers.
Marbury Chambers will inform all applicants of outcomes promptly after all open places are filled.
An applicant for readership is not required to have passed the Bar Exam in order to apply for readership.
