Michael Fantin advises and appears in litigious and non-litigious matters in criminal law, in family law and in civil disputes (including contractual, money and debt disputes, compensation claims, statutory demands, family provision claims, applications for interim relief and injunctive relief and in home building disputes in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal). Michael has significant advocacy experience in the Local, District and Supreme Courts and in the Family and Federal Courts. Michael was called to the Bar in 2014.
Michael holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of New South Wales and has extensively analysed the complex issue of expert evidence in criminal trials (holding a particular interest in the scholarly works of Terence Anderson, David Schum and William Twining in ‘Analysis of Evidence’). Michael also holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Master of Business Administration.
