Deone principally appears as a criminal Trial Advocate.
Deone was first admitted as an Australian Lawyer in 1998 and was called to the New South Wales Bar in 2010.
Prior to being called to the Bar, in the role of Senior Legal Officer at the Office of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, Deone conducted various criminal prosecutions, including in respect of white collar, drug and fraud allegations.
Prior to working at the Office of the CDPP, Deone was a Senior Solicitor Advocate with the Aboriginal Legal Service (NSW/ACT) Ltd. In this role, Deone appeared before the Court in serious criminal matters and supervised and managed the criminal legal practice for the ALS for Western Sydney and the NSW Central Coast.
